Every artist this past sunday rocked it....armin tried...but he gave himself hard competition.
I think ASOT is finally starting to proove to armin he is not the best and he should just step aside...or just go back to classics or SOMETHING.
And i feel as though Den Bosch will be no expection. The line up is sick!!

I didn't really hear all the sets last sunday but I disagree on this one. I thought his set was pretty solid last weekend and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. ATB rocked it with Du Hast? I didn't quite think so...

yea i guess you can say that he's def lackin in the production department...to me his productions were always hit or miss and i never really payed attention to him, thats why i was so suprised he threw down such a sick set at asot 500
so i guess hes a better dj than producer

+1 ..avb was good...up until a year or 2 ago i wasnt really a fan,he made a big impression on me this past sunday...his show 2 day was:eyes: i imagine den bosch is gonna b amazing

I disagree, I thought almost everyone was severely subpar, Armin's set was probably #1 or 2 (and I almost never say that). Sander also did a great job picking up after ATB, not quite "ASOT-ish" but he closed things up nicely and had me dancing in my chair. Honestly, everyone else let me down a bit (minus Schossow, whose set I haven't heard). I don't want to go on the record about ATB's set. MORPH had a good start to his set, and Gareth Emery's was okay (just not my personal cup of tea), but no one reeeeally captivated me.
A lot of sets last year (Nitrous Oxide, Mat Zo, Breakfast, Arnej) I think set the bar really high. Den Bosch should be really exciting, I got butterflies!

well i missed ATBs set...and Im hearing 50/50 on it...seems really split some loved and some hated....im scared to listen to be honest
I felt as though Schossows and MORPHs set were really really good.
I adored ferrys- but i will give the credit that it was mostly his own music and i just love ferry so i shouldnt even take that into account.
@marcello yeah- im including 450 in the statement...i feel as though the large ASOT shows as a whole (450 and now 500) are setting the bar higher, and are giving armin a run for his money...I also understand that he WANTS this too...so on his two day ventures i see the business plan as black and white as can be- day one...blah...day two kill them....leave room for the "n00bs"...leave room to make notice of DJs so i can sign them later...yadda yadda
maybe "seeing" the business aspect too much can hurt my opnion on the event as a whole. sometimes the dollar signs are brighter then the lasers....
I will admit I personally feel as though his set set was incredibly wasted....my time, my money, my sleep, my energy...all wasted by being there. (on saturday) the show itself was PHENOMINAL though!
SOOOOO i probably need to shed that thought from my mind while passing judgement on his sunday set.
I do agree Emerys set was ho-hum, and expected and nothing new...so his set doesnt fall within my opion of "bar raising" in fact emery needs to be dropped from this sort of thing all together...imo

hes just getting boring. and I know the majority of people I know agree on that.
and its 4 years actually. thats why its boring.
He can keep doing whatever the hell he likes. hes making money, hes doing it well...hes a power house and hell always be up there. Im just bored of the name...bored of the same sets....I want more 2005-2006 and more stuff like mccarren park pool.
I loved and love and will always support asot...i think what he is doing is fantastic. but i think that the DJs invovled are actually, a lot of times, better then him atm....
