- look for more modern hats/snares/shakers
- The chanting that starts at 1.16 doesn't fit mate look into it maybe EQ work or compression can fix it
- The pianos in the break are very nice
- The bass and drive after the break is nice too also the pads are very fresh witch i like
- The overall mix down needs work, i think this is were most of the work should go
still got half month to go, so no pressure
So you think i should use modern percussions?¿ I preferred this to be old style but i know labels would bitch about this, i will keep this original project apart and focus on the mixdown and fresh percussion elements.

Kile, i'll give this a go as well. downloaded the pack, let's see what i can get with it.

Why does PSY always get capitalised? What's wrong with psy? It was a better genre anyway:conf:

@Raphie
great, welcome aboard :D
@kitphillips
PSY was the roots for me, its a sentimental thing
But yeah like every other genre old psy was more euphoric more spacey more banging, more sub shattering, more interesting, specially psy albums, they used to to tell the story well, Cosma come to mind

yeah go ahead (If it is possible apply fade in to the intro or fade out to the outro this will do)

yoo , 140bpm ha :P
listen ,
synth work is very good i like the sounds you've chosen for the riffs.
percussion work is interesting and makes a good movement in the track (needs some tightning though)
I think you should drop the segment from 0:28-01:08 it ruins the mood created by the intro, keep the intro building.
Try this, take the track down to 130-esh and take a listen, I promise you it will be worth it
Dj_Kile
no pressure :D , take your time

- Love the start, its like sudden death
- 0:30 clever transition lot of energy boost i like
- 0:30 - 1:30 it feels bit static, maybe change it up with FX, kick breaks, strings/riffs breaks also would be cool(but harder to implement), also you can add a downer that ends at 1:30 before the next segment begins this will add anticipation for it
All in all love the retro feel and drive of the track, so far is coming up nicely

Probably last snip i'm sharing in public, next will be final for Kile only. Did get a bit of a Marcus Schultz type vibe though :D
Made a nice epic type break :D
Raphie
track is now finished so above player contains snippet of the break, Kile has the full edit, would suggest to play it L O U D ! :D
Dj_Kile
tonight I'll take it for a drive ...
Rodri Santos
i am finishing mine, the problem is that i got used to the original percussion and now i don't like very much the ones i'm using now, but i've improved the overall mix a bit, it sounds very Oliver Lieb as i wanted but i don't know if this classic sound would work in 2011
