Not a style I'm particularly fond of, so take my words with a grain of salt. I know the whole tech house thing is widely praised for its groove, which I feel this track lacks at its current stage. I'm not very fond of the IMO gloomy feel in the breaks. I guess it makes for a nice contrast when the drop arrives, but it's not for me.
Hopefully somebody with more knowledge can give you the type of feedback you're looking for |

| the "gloomy" melody in the break is only that way due to instrument choice and the fact its so deep in the background. The rest of the track I'm not really feeling. I think its just because I don't feel the instrumentation in it. |

I like this one as well though I would try firstly moving the placement of the main chord melody so it swings with the drums rather than the "duh duh duh" straightness it has at the moment.
Also maybe when the main chord melody is reintroduced later on, start with the filter cutoff much lower and gradually open up? Obvious I know but it might work better. |

| Yeah this one needs more work. Ive got more ideas on where I want to take this one. Will def try the chord change so its not as straight when I do, see how it works out. Thanks again mate for the comments. |

| Im actualy liking V2 alot. it sounds very tight. but to my ear it lacks a bit of depth, some stereo spreading and reverb might help |

| I like it, but some of the synths aren't pleasing to the ear as much as they could be, or it might just be the over use of that one pattern, especially some of the percussive ones. The idea is good but I'm not sure it was executed as well as it could have been, perhaps try A&Bing it? Has some cool melodies and grooves for sure tho. |

| I just had another listen on proper speakers. Got to revoke my earlier statement, no lack of bass at all. There could be a bit more prominent hihat, open hat. Besides that the mixdown is done very well, and the track is kinda unusual yet it works fine in the prog trance/house genre. Labels usualy prefer to sign more than one track for a single ep to avoid remix costs. If you got another similar track i would finish them both, then send them out to labels, increases your chances to get a good deal. |
