Logic Freeze function - help

I am wondering why the freeze option is not available for almost all the channels. I am running in 64 bit mode and I have this issue on both my mac pros.
Here is a screen shot of both computers with the freeze option selected. As you can see, the option is there for a few channels but that is it. The stupid logic core bug is killing my computer and I need to freeze some tracks but I can't figure out why this option isn't available.
2 mac pro b cores 32 gigs of ram each.

| figured it out, can't freeze instruments with multi outs. |
