best part was that it was like KWTA reunion party. i've seen some people that I haven't seen in years!

The Venue: Very sweet. It did a bang on job of making you feel like you're in Toronto or a bigger city. Decor is well done. Bar staff are courteous and friendly. Beer selection is good. Drinking Waterloo dark in a bar is a novelty and a half.

i hated it as tyrones so im happy to hear its nicer after its like 10th name change.

Glad to hear it went well! Unfortunately I had to leave town but I did check out the bar on thurs, very impressed. It's actually been open as the Embassy since December apparently.

Hope to make it to jelo or another event here very soon. Only been to the non-alcoholic club down the street twice now and I'm already tired of it

I never knew the name of the place but I always thought it was a sushi joint just by looking at its logo. Then I was told 'Tyrones' and I thought it was a black club with hip hop and rap. I went in ONCE during its time and I was wrong on all of my assumptions.

Wow it's been a long time since I've posted in here!! but, I figured after such an amazing night and some roaring good reviews, it was time I made my return.

After I put on my first track, all I could do is sit back and hope we'd done enough to make the night a success. Grand Opens are always tricky, cuz you always feel like you could have done more. But you know what? Last night was a big success in my mind. Our first night needed to really show you guys what we're all about....... ing good music... amazing people... and a nice intimate atmosphere. I spent most of the night socializing with everyone and I seemed to keep getting the same feedback....... The Embassy is EXACTLY what KW needs.

Max is one of the nicest DJs I've played with over the years. The guy is friggin hilarious. Besides the music, the epic moment of the night was when he finished his set and the chef brought out his chicken sandwich and fries. Max lost his mind and ran to his food.

I feel like we recaptured a feeling... We did what we set out to do..... and after last night, I can promise you all, this is JUST the beginning! Believe me... Max Graham is just the first of many BIG big nights at The Embassy. Great start... but the best is yet to come :)

Don't need to say much more as it's been said repeatedly throughout this thread!! :toothless

I had an absolute frigggggin BLAST at Embassy on Saturday night.

Super intimate venue (LOVED the low-lighting and layout <3)
Older more classy & mature crowd
Solid party vibe flowing all night
Superb music (best trance I've heard since Contact)
Nice bar/decently priced drinks

Love this "change" from Toronto clubbing or just big room clubbing...putting KW back on the map!

Max Graham was having a blast behind the decks....and it added nothing but positive vibes. You can tell when a DJ is genuinely into his set and which just smile and jump up and down yet deep down it's just another day on the job for them.

Any other confirmed dates other than Jelo??

Good job and thanks to everyone who contributed into making this party happen :):)
