armin totally sucked. Saturday...what was that?
you know youve run out of music and ideas when you feel the need to play going wrong (AND you have a brand new album out)
And what happened? Wasnt it supposed to go longer?
As far as others: I now adore afrojack....I was told ATB wasnt coming so i went home- EFF ME! I skipped day one bc other peoples inability to mind their own business and grow up and stop harrassing me led me to think "is tiesto really worth this? um NO!" and so happy i did bc i had a blast on the beach.....and heard that many others chose this route too (Ultra...maybe we should skip the three day bs)
Kaskade was a dissapointment- only because I wanted more old school from him (so 50/50 on that, i really have no right to hate him i suppose)
Ferry was my favorite as always....
It was my first UMF....being stalked through the entire thing kinda made me wonder how much more fun I COULD have had. And the addition of sneakers might have made it better too. hahahah
Ill be back. Assuming the timing is right and prices ect ect. I really do now feel the price was a bit ridic due to the lack of a great line up. |

a really crazy person...hahah sucked they ruined their time too..i dont get it. I guess they want to make wallpapers of me on their pc...took vidoes and pics of me two days out there hahaha
its just sad bc i had to go to the police..AGAIN and i really didnt want to :( but i have no idea what this persons intentions are...so i have to make sure im safe. I often go out alone...and maybe im dumb for it- but its never been an issue before i shouldnt have to change my life bc of someone else.
@Z the crowd for ATB or in general? Once armin came on it was TOOOOO packed for me...im too old hahahaha I got tired and so hot and couldnt move...people shoving...I left in the middle of his set. |

In general...
The gravel sucked, people were kicking it around. I was scared it would hit my camera lens. I was cradling my camera like it was a baby because people kept knocking into me. After about an hour I was walking around with my elbows facing out cuz I got fed up. |

@z yeah the gravel sucked! I wore my old ass sneakers on sat and had wanted to get new ones...and it wasnt so horrible so i was dumb and on sunday wore flip flops...i knew id get dirty...but MAN i was a wreck. my own damn fault. there were a group of guys durring armins set sunday that were kicking around and people were screaming at them to stop but they wouldnt...thats when i left.
yeah the camera! ohhhh i would have been scared too. I didnt even bring a camera or anything simply bc im incapable of keeping track of my own things hahahah but had i id have been nervous and mine is nothing as nice as yours! |

now that i recap the asot500 , yes my best sets was ferry and armin but what made my night even more special was the fact i was playing basketball with Menno, Atb, Markus and these other guys in the back. well markus was there for a min as well as atb playing ball , but after that menno and i were on the same team against these other dudes it was a lot of fun playing ball with them .. so i didnt get to catch SVD's set because of that and i left to space right after that ... it was fun fun fun ..
what a cool way to end #mmw :)
@Z everything else about Ultra i didnt not like either.. well maybe carl cox tent the 2 days before was good and they held the asot500 in the same tent so that was good ... but that was it . the gravel did suck .. |

hahahah good question!
although i think it worked out for the best...he had two amazing nights at space instead! (although maybe he still would have)
yeah....one of the cool things about MMW was how available all the artists were. every where i turned i found one. nothing cooler then hearing my name and turning around to see markus or andy or shane....
on ocean ave i bumped into a lot of them, more then at UMF...which makes sense to me they probably didnt want to deal with the crowd just as much as we didnt want to.
highlight of my week was deffinitely when i was ASKED to be interviewed hehehehe i almost felt like i was the famous one at one point :)
this being my first real visit to miami for this though i was informed that in years past it was even more fun and artists were even more available- wish i was there for that |
