Entropy is my new night in Birmingham (UK), where I am aiming to showcase some of the serious side of trance, as opposed to lots and lots of girly stuff.

It actually wen't really well! We had a good turn out and the venue is superb, so we have the next one booked in for 13th May.
As ever it was quite difficult to get away with playing psy trance when most people are used to Armin etc (I think you can tell this was the case because the flow is a bit dodgy in the first half of this mix), but it certainly didn't scare anyone off. There were also 2 totally professional guys playing house and prog earlier on which was way better than anything I hear in Godskitchen, so overall very pleased with how it went.
(Also, appologies for the shocking first mix, to anyone who has downloaded. I honestly don't think I did that on the night) :o ) |

It's at a place called 'The Wagon and Horses' in Digbeth. It is actually and old man pub containing a cat on a stool and ham sandwiches behind the bar. However, you go around the back and there is a courtyard under a big parachute, with a shed that opens up into a DJ console with a huge stack of speakers. Its one of the weirdest but coolest venues I've been to! |
