| That's alright....Beta Waterloo is ranked No. 29 and they haven't been open for 6 months and haven't even gotten their liquor licence yet. Its ranked number 3 in Canada. |

key is to remove the hip-hop room. Guv and Red Lite do that they'll be number one and two ;)
Kudos to Circus but the Guv ranking just tarnishes everything :p |

I think the Guv itself is a very nice club, just the crowd sucks balls. No vibe. |

The way I see it, just like the DJ ranking, the accuracy of the position is not so much important or meaningful.
It's just mean that Circus is improving and getting better, we can all agree on that. A lot of people took time to vote and support. That includes staff, Djs, promoters and such.
We should be proud of our Montreal clubs ranking so well. If Stereo slipped a little in the ranking, it's probably just because they didn't insist too much on people voting. We all agree Stereo is great and there's no reason why it should suddenly rank lower from it's 2009 position.
Now I don't have enough world clubbing experience to know if Circus is #21, but I do believe that with the actual music direction, upcoming renovations, new sound, Circus will be a club worth of getting a LOT of worldwide attention. And that spot will not only be truely deserved, but will rank higher next year, maybe even top 10, regardless of the voting system.
I'm really, really proud of the club and to be part of it. |

| I think that stereo fell in the rankings because of lack of innovation and lack of diversity of music styles. When was the last time that an after-hour booked soo many major djs as the 10th of june events. Last time I saw that was durin aria era |

| I dunno tbh I think Stereo bookings have become a bit predictable as of late but they seem to turn it up a few notches when the weather gets nice so we'll see how things are looking in the next few months. |

yes I totally agre... but the club itself should easily be in the top 15... there are many clubs in the top 50 that I've been to, and Stereo is way better than so so many in every aspects. |

For the umpteenth time, Stereo was designed as a New York House club. It may vary a little, but that is its intended purpose. Expecting them to deviate far from that is like asking a bull to produce honey. |

remember, its just a poll! of course it sucks they went down in rank so maybe next year get a couple extra friends to vote for the club!! A DJ mag poll won't change my perception of the club. |

yes , this poll is not relevant imo since it's not even the djs who vote... I didnt even take the time to vote.. I dont care. I love Stereo and even if it would not have been in the top 100, I still have my own perception about it: one of the best club I have ever been to.
also im pretty happy that all my top clubs are not even in the top positions... thanks god berghain is not anymore number 1 !!! it could destroy it. |
