| If its true that Masquerade Motel and or Swedish House Mafia's promoter oversold the event by a few thousand then they should be helded accountable in a court of law. It boggles my mind how corrupt the law/night club industry relationship is. Police Departments are usually paid off to stay away from night clubs / stip clubs etc. |

I think it was agreed that the police were just exaggerating and trying to scare passer-byers, because there isn't anything on the web from a news source about multiple deaths.
Last year there were several articles about people being hospitalized, so if people were dying this year, I'm sure it would've made headlines. |

ok let me drop a little truth on what happened. I was there in line about 5 ft from the barricades and the front of the crowd when this went down. I did not see what happened with the girl. However, the police say the crowd rushed the barricades to get in. THIS IS COMPLETE BS. The cops rushed US with tasers flickering as we all ran back. At no point did the crowd that was waiting for swedish house(i can't speak for the crowd around the girl) get violent or try to rush the barricades. The cops were asking us to get back from the barricades(which were at least 50 ft away from the main fence) and everyone stayed put(wtf is the point of the barricades if we need to back up from them). All of a sudden I see a taser being rushed in my face. complete overreaction by the cops
the spin from the cops is beyond ridiculous. saying their lives were in danger gimme a ing break. and that they describe the crowd as "drunken"(obv it was another type of ed up) should give u an idea the warped perspective they decided to take on the situation. |

You're actually the first and only guy who says this happened. When I read your post I had to stop to think if you're just mad and exaggerating just a bit to validate a point, which btw, happens every single time a patron feels mistreated.
Can someone else who was there confirm this happened?
The police just started tazing innocent people who were standing there, minding their own business without acting agressive or violent? |
