hey news flash
Sasha is very technically oriented and as such his kit and way of doing things changes a lot.
Lately as he's put it in some interviews he's going back to basics with regular dj-ing and no more "live acts".
If that involves Traktor so what?! |

He has broken the Holy Codex of the DJs, written down to us by Eddie Flashin Fowlkes, and we must spill his blood to pay for his sin, and not to anger the Gods! |

This is ridiculous, using traktor to mix is not real djing, a lot of djs excuse themselves saying that they need the programme to keep the beats going while using the synths and drum machines but you've djs like Tod Terry spinning with 4 turntables so i think you can mix with 2 cdj 2000's that almost mix for you and juggle a bit with your hardware. |

there's the purist ones and there's the purist and there's the ones who do things differently.
Take that stick out of your arse and realize it's just a tool. |

Seriously who cares?
He's probably using the CDJ-2000's as controllers or with timecode, which is what I do with mine.
Traktor is a nicer interface for music organization and playback than RekordBox. |

| Sasha, I will trade your Maven with a set of time-code vinyls. |

Bah, other than the fact is has a built-in sound card, and looks like you could toss it off a building and it wouldn't break, the APC-40 does everything the Maven does. And you can have it fixed, apparently the Maven wasn't so tough :) |
