He's an awesome producer. His "Addicted to Music" album is still one of the best albums to just chill out and listen to, even after all these years.

And yeah, his live sets tend to suck, but at least he seems to love what he does. Whatever works for him, I guess. I'm cool with it as long as he keeps producing great tracks.

He's one of the few guys that can actually be fun to see even if his mixing isn't good. As soon as "Let U Go" or one of the hits starts playing, I forget all about the other stuff that was playing before. :)

To be fair, he barely even made it to Ultra in time to play at all. His flight was delayed out of DC on Sunday and apparently he arrived right before he had to go on. That being said, that was the first time I had seen ATB in person, and I was quite disappointed. SvD on the other hand :eyespop: I don't know if I saw anybody destroy the dancefloor that hard all weekend.

He is a very big name. Even people with absolutely no relation to EDM know ATB. Anyone remember the huge lines at Heat?

Yeah, SVD is playing at Avalon here next weekend, and I predict one hell of a night from him.

You're in for a real treat. I've seen him like 6 or 7 times since 2006 and he's completely demolished the place every time.

Do you know how long his set is? He seems to thrive when he gets to play longer sets. I saw one of his Dusk til Doorn nights in Toronto where he played a 5 hour set. Crazy stuff

I couldn't believe he ended his ASOT500 set with Direct Dizko. Wow.

Avalon stays open all night. Digweed played 1am-7am a few weeks ago, so I'm pretty sure Sander will go as long as he wants. :)

btw, the reason ATB played asot500 is because of the new track he did with armin + ATB's new album that armin was whoring. i think armin still wanks to 'till i come'.

just a joke.....i was there and the beginning was kind of OK until he played a heavy metal kind of music that killed every one.....people were living his set like if Ultra had ended.....i never seen that happening in my 10 years Ultra....everybody stop dancing, look each other and wait like a few seconds to see if he was going to do something and them people start leaving......on the other hand Sander Van Doorn was AMAZING......what a set.......i also loved Gareth.....(i'm a big fan, i know he played a cheezee set but that's what people at Ultra like....just a bunch of kids)....
