Cos it attracts kids.
We'll see what happens with the place. Jellybean as musical director is a great choice, I just hope it doesn't become the new Shelter with patrons smelling like baby powder and Bengay.
edit: Does anyone remember the Shelter space on Varick (it's Greenhouse now)? Whenever some other party was going on and the Shelter regulars were starting to come in at around 4, they would give the other ppl (the younger ppl) the stinkeye, like they owned the place, pfft. On top of that, the deaf dj couldn't dj and i fell a couple of times because of the damn baby powder. |

yup upstairs in the main room would be a big dj...but once 4/5am comes and everyone is starting to die out all the older people start to come in...it was like night and day crowd wise
as for this new club if the music is somewhat underground and has decent dj's i will def check it out...iant goin to hear no mash-up's thats for sure |

I mean don't get me wrong, I've been clubbing for a long time, a lot of ppl I know are considerably older than me and I'm even seeing an older guy, but don't act like you're more entitled than me just cos I'm younger or give me a dirty look cos you don't agree with my style of partying, I pay cover just like everyone else (sometimes).
