Hi, I got some music video's off the DC hub, and i'm trying to figure out how to play them. I've installed the DivX codec, but that only owrked for one of them. they are all supposedly SVCD.

The following are the ones that dont work...

System F - Exhale.m2v
01-system_f-out_of_the_blue-svcd-1999-rerip-se.mpg
(SVCD) DJ Sammy & Yanou feat. Do - Heaven (Version 1).mpg

Umm... any advice on what codec to use, where to get it, or why these aren't working would be appreciated. I'm also not a complete dumbass, so you can be somewhat technical, i'm just inexpirienced wiht movie codecs.

try DivX502Bundle.exe for the mpgs. For the m2v file u need to view it in PowerDVD or a program like that.

If u can get access to it get Nimo50Build7.exe instead of DivX502Bundle.exe but if u cant find it just get the DivX502Bundle.exe

i've tried the DivX codec... they are not DivX. Any other ideas anyone?

edit: after installing NIMO, evidentally I installed the audio codecs, so now it will play the audio track... but no video, which means I have 60 music files. so if you know the corresponding video codec, some hlep would be nice :-)

Go into the music video section of this site, there is an mpeg2 player and also an mpeg2 video codec for windows media player you can download for free. ;)

by the looks of the filename
i'd say they are all mpeg-2's
aka SVCD's
get the elecard mpeg-2 player off this site and enjoy :)
k.k.d.
one word: PowerDVD

best player there is for everything, you won't use another.. ;)
