He played everything you heard last night ut rotunda at space friday night. That was his best set of the year. Best set ive ever heard personally.

So Markus doesn't suck now?

This twistedness of this set reminds of NYE.

For some reasons, some of these tracks even sound similar (but maybe he's done edits to them since) to tracks he played on NYE but were not on his World Tour broadcast. At least the same twisted, techno-influenced style that he ripped the place apart with that he didn't broadcast.

As I've been saying, I think Markus' next chapter of music is going to be heavily techno influenced!

Anyone notice the lack of vocals in this set (I know there were a couple instanced, but compared to most tranced DJs....)? Ahhh, what music to my ears!

Just finished the set. Wow :eyes:

Never seen him live before. Definitely gonna have to check him out now.

markus edits out a lot of stuff that he played live from the GDJB broadcasts -- he likes to call them his 'secret weapons.' :D for example, he's been playing his new dakota track, sleepwalkers, for more than a month now but Buenos Aires was the first time he allowed it to be recorded and broadcast.

Yeah, I learned how Markus operates long ago. :p. I'm just saying....Markus was f'n insane on NYE, and the World Tour broadcast that aired wasn't the great parts of his set. Finally getting to hear the twistedness/techno influence in his sets that are broadcast. I think he's just going to do what he wants to do and bring it out in his sets more.

oh, gotcha. read through your post too quickly and misinterpreted the 'for some reason' part.

Markus is best at being able to keep an ID of tracks from people for months. He's really secretive of that stuff, especially when it's some track that's he's just testing out at the moment (usually his own or a track that's going to be MASSIVE and on his label). Can never get it out of him! Few people can!

Gets a little annoying actually the way he keeps some tracks a secret for 8-10 months. I'm all for keeping them a secret for 2-3 months, 4 months tops. But once a track hits 6 months as an ID...not only should it be revealed, it should be released.

i really like the new direction he's going.

i wonder how next weeks asot 500 set will be.

They're running out of talented trance DJs. At this rate Dash Berlin might even make it onto one of the lineups...oh wait
msilin
yeah SVD and Markus have been the top sets from asot 500 by faarrrrr
