Visiting Montreal

I am visiting montreal may 13th - may 15th with a few friends, and I thought maybe you can help with places to go.
I am already planning on going to Circus, and it says it opens at 2am, so I guess that's where I will be for after hours fri and sat.
Any suggestions on places to go before hand. It's doesn't have to be edm, because my other friends are not into edm as much as I am. Just other clubs where we can go and have fun. Not to much into bars, but if they are good why not.
Also resturantes, nothing to fancy or high end. just great places to get great food, pretty much what the locals recommend.
Also some places to visist durning the day.

went there for a bachelor party few years back
1. Poutine is #1 late night snack
2. Great strip clubs(pay to get in because you can't throw $1&$2 coins at strippers)
3. Great steakhouse:Gibby's steakhouse.

I compare it to peter luger,pace's,etc. not the best in the world but comparable food and service
4. Clubs: Opera(closed I think) and something else but smaller venue. I forgot the name.
5. Nice casino by the main bridge/pont
6.The Montreal Canadian fans get crazy in the city when the playoffs come around!
Overall great get away for a few days and make sure you got your passport. Only way to get in and out of CA. now! I went to Toronto few weeks ago. Going across the border at 2am was easy as pie but coming back around 11am was "please leave the key and get out of the car"!!! worked out but border patrol doing there JOB I guess.
Update(you want during the day and cheap)
#1 will work,and there are some hookah places during the day, and old Montreal is a not so expensive place to go during the day time hours for some street shows and food. :) |
