With his debut Anjunabeats compilation mix for just round the corner, Danish trance champion Daniel Kandi offers a double hit of uplifting trance taken from his ‘Anjunabeats Worldwide 03’ mix.
First up, is a solo outing from Kandi – ‘Just For You’. With a chugging electronic groove giving the track an instant drive, Kandi begins to weave his melodic magic into the mix with some gentle pads and chords that gradually sweep us into the breakdown. Unwrapping a heavenly melody that soars off effortlessly, ‘Just For You’ becomes a perfect mid-set anthem with twinkling pianos adding another layer of quality.
Teaming it up is something special indeed - Daniel Kandi’s ‘Solution Mix’ of Aalto’s ‘Resolution’. Comprised of Paavo from Above & Beyond and Miika Eloranta aka Super8, Aalto were responsible for many timeless trance moments on Anjunabeats – and 2005’s ‘Resolution' was undoubtedly one of them.
A favourite of the Kandi man, he specifically requested to remix it for his ‘Anjunabeats Worldwide 03’ disc and the result if a gorgeous, gently tweaked slice of proglift. Capturing the classic melodic sounds of the original and wrapping it up perfectly for today’s floors and ears, Kandi completes a perfect double for Anjuna fans.
