This is going to be an insane night! I can't wait to see his setup in person at a 21+ show. We are lucky to have this be 21+ because all of his other shows in Cali have been 18+! Ins and outs FTW!

When did Torq become an 21+ event?

This is not an official TORQ event, its "Ruby Skye presents" Event and they asked us at TORQ to help Co-Promote this particular event.

Regular TORQ nights has been, and always will be 18+, sorry for the confusion.

I don't understand why they are booking top tier talent on Thursday's and complete garbage (benassi for example) on the weekends.

I mean, I'm sure it's because he has dates all over California that week but it's seriously lane for those of us that have work
DaveT
Again, everyone thinks cities or clubs always have the power over which dates are booked. It doesn't work that way. Maybe he had no weekend availability when it came time for Ruby to book. Maybe next time Ruby should just not book him at all!

This said, I honestly don't know the situation.

They shouldn't (my opinion!) book big name artists on days people cant see though. He wont be back for at least another 6 months, maybe even a year.

Artists shouldn't book 3-4 dates in a row, it's not considerate to the fans and more importantly, their own health.

Same thing is going to happen with gareth emery next month.

A certain DJ/producer i know from sweden refuses to do multiple dates, because he doesnt feel it's fair to the fans to not put on the best show possible, and playing 3/4 nights back to back is really going to take a number our of you

but yeah.. just my opinion

Wish I could have seen wolfgang, it's been too long

This post makes me LAUGH. Sounds like someone is seriously jealous not being able to see the show...

As Dave says, it doesn't work that way. Clubs are fighting with all other clubs around the world to book a certain DJ for their weekends. Lots of competition for a particular Friday or Saturday when you count in ALL THE CLUBS AND FESTIVALS in the world trying doing the same.

"Artist's shouldnt book 3-4 days in a row", its called Touring. All major DJs does it. From Armin & Tiesto to Swedish House Mafia or Guetta

"Its not fair to the fans" This is hysterical. The show is almost completely sold out. I think all those fans disagree with you son..
99.99% probably rather see their favorite Artist on a Thursday then wait another year to see them on a Saturday..

Yes, Gareth Emery is on a mini Tour, coming all the way from Manchester UK. There are only so many days in a week and lots of clubs and gigs wanting to book and fans wanting to see him. What to do?????, maybe its better not to take any gigs besides Saturdays, yeah that will be a great idea... hello! i dont think the fans of these DJs you are talking about agrees with you.. If they did, this industry wouldn't exist.

We should be lucky to even get to see so much great talent on a regular and continued basis. Try your luck living in Ohio..
