I had a pretty good time last night. This was the first time I'd been to subbies in about 1.5 months. I was keen to check out the new silver room, playing progressive. Not many ppl in there though. I counted maybe 30 max at any one stage.
In my humble opinion, the trance is a little bit too hard for my tastes. The only song the really stood out for me was when pee-wee played "trance and acid". That is one of the best songs around (I bought the kai tracid box set last week and all the songs are awesome. Can't wait to see him live on 28th Sept).
Didn't go into the breaks/jungle/dnb room all night. The terrace was pumping as usual, with Kate Monroe playing some really chunky house.
The best bit of the night though was bumping into my old pals john and james. I'll see you two at Altitude. |
