Very cool venue, I liked it :) The sound is VERY decent. And they have Peruvian beer! :D Not getting any sleep in DC is something I haven't done in YEARS!
It was so bizarre to me to see Singapore Bistro right next door (although not operating anymore), that was a crazy place almost 7 years ago, oof. I still don't know how I survived those times.

That's what I like to hear. I haven't been to DC since 2005. I used to go to Five and Glow then haha. I know Five is long gone and that Glow books the likes of Pauly hahaha.
My gf has never been to DC at all so I'm really excited she's coming too! Gonna be a fun night out!

Yeah, it's unfortunate, Five was my absolute favourite in DC... Mark Farina used to destroy the place EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. :crazy:
Singapore Bistro was the place to go to after Five since it's just around the corner, they'd start it @ 4 am and it was a total show, haha. I think they shut it down in 2005.
Went to Fur on Saturday to show the Life cats in the patio some support and the main floor (Glow) was DEAD and whoever was playing dropped some remix of 'Smells like teen spirit'. As soon as I heard that, I walked right back out. That anthem should never be ed with and whoever did should be crucified.
Enjoy your gig :) DC is back on the map to me, no thanks to Glow.
BTW, I've been meaning to get in touch with you when in Boston. You know Monique, right?
