Nature has an uncanny way of naturally balancing itself out. The concern here is that we are growing in number much too quickly where it may not be able to do so.
I want to give these a watch as I simply adore National Geographic in both their magazine form as well as their documentaries. Alongside the BBC they put out some really terrific stuff. |

"University of Birmingham scientists, working with Bristol University, have produced a potent chemical that can kill drug-resistant strains of the bacteria.
The findings pave the way for the creation of a new hybrid antibiotic, which could save lives by killing infections that have grown resistant to traditional forms of antibiotic drugs.
A team of microbial geneticists from Birmingham, led by Professor Chris Thomas, discovered that a mutant form of marine bacteria could be used to join together two forms of antibiotics.
This created a chemical that stops the growth of strains in the most ardent forms of MRSA.
Prof Thomas said the work could also enhance treatment for other dangerous bugs such as E.coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

It's impossible for humans to wipe off every single life form on the planet before we (or at least the vast majority of us) eventually starve to death. Nature will continue to do it's thing long after we're gone. |

Definitely DL it now, or at least soon... I can't wait for the actual final results. It would answer a very interesting question imo! But I'm just a nerd concerning those things :stongue: |

And then India...
Get rid of most of the middle east (you know the ones)...
Shoot all of the American ghetto folk...
You could easily eliminate a billion people with no negative effect....
