Yeah, Markus has said many times that Phoenix has always held a special place for him, it's where he really made a name for himself before moving to Miami |

Oh, I know he got his first true start in Phoenix, but he's always calling Berlin / Miami / Phoenix his home.
He needs to pick one and stop playing musical homes. :P

Born in Berlin (birth home)
Grew up and got his start in Arizona (grew up home)
Moved to London and got inspired while living on Coldharbour St or something like that (location of inspiration)
Moved to Miami, where he's been for like a decade now, got his radio show, Armin basically took him under his wing to launch his DJ superstardom and music label. And the rest is history. He's been in Miami long enough to call his home and mean it. And he plays so rarely in Miami (except the last few months, e's done like four space gigs), that when he does play there's it's a pretty big deal!
So he does really have three cities that when he refers to them as home, they are each a home of his for different reasons. That said, a lot of the "coming home" stuff is probably more of the promoters just using it to their advantage more than Markus putting himself out there as coming home. |

| lol this all funny and a joke to me lol. and btw Markus actually does play like no other here in AZ and does talk about on his blogs how much of a home and how much he loves it here. I actually didnt know about the coldharbour st. thing ironically one more fun fact is that his Dakota alias was inspired from a street he lived on here in AZ. : ) |
