looks pretty real.. as for the silence, maybe they were in shock? not everyone's first reaction is to scream I guess. the one weird thing is what jay mentioned... the fact that they were recording for what looks like absolutely no reason in the first place.
but I'm putting my money on that it's real.

pretty crazy..
something similar happened to me, a bumper broke off some car going southbound and flew in the northbound lane on the hwy and smashed into my car on fender and door while i was going 140km/h at night, it was so unexpected i almost my pants, it was so ing loud too, barely was able to keep control of the vehicle.. thought my whole side of the car was gone, got off the hwy and it was bad but not as bad as i thought. That ricocheted behind me into several other vehicles too.
