Title says it all really.

'Foreigners' remixes of tracks from Finnish producers are also welcome :)

And by Foreigner I don't mean the ones whom had it easy when they were big in Japan, and so desperately wanted to be forever young.

But now, musics. Comments good and bad are always glad.

Everything, really? When I first heard of him I was quite excitied at his fairly unique sound, but when 100 tracks later everything still sounds exactly the same it's a bit tiring to say the least.

Nice ones :)

Here's one that's about as commercial as it gets, often overlooked and unplayed, but in my opinion it's a pretty good effort.. At least for a remix of a Britney Spears track it's not that bad :p

Without a doubt the pinnacle of Finnish music output is Humppa.

There's enough difference for me to like his tracks. Sure, some are certainly better than others, but I like the sound enough that the similarities don't bother me.

His stuff with Ima'gin is the best, though:

That sounds way too farty.

those are 2 of my favourites.

i like most of the stuff i hear from finnish producers, from sandstorm all those years ago (yeah, i said it, haista vittu if you dont like it) to stuff from paavo/super8 & tab/other finns pushing that anjunabeats sound, to people like orkidea and slusnik luna who create some pretty special tracks. must be something in the water over there?

He is the most genius producer I've ever heard.
He's the master behind many projects and can make any kind of style he just wants.

oh the days :)

jori hulkkonen - you're my excuse for being me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EcSPFwwn2k
chromeo - bonafied loving (jori hulkkonen remix)
jori hulkkonen / jii hoo - let me love u http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWwGzz8QC68
lu & jii hoo - shelter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOlYFPBgFh8
hulkkonen - from a distance
anything hulkkonen related goes without saying

most things i've heard by toumas salmela (phonogenic) has been quality aswell like
jesper dahlbäck - pianomagic (phonogenic remix)
phonogenic - midnight drop
toumas salmela - roadnites

klas lindblad (sasse/freestyle man) is quality aswell, same goes for mr. velcro fastner, jimi tenor and nuspirit helsinki. even js16 has done a decent record or two. http://www.discogs.com/Papa-Blue-En-Velo/release/3230 this for instance. or most stuff released on Sähkö. timmion records is doing their share of bringing out soul and funk and like daptone records is doing from the us. that nicole willis & the soul investigators album is brilliant.

this tune aswell. g-litter - paiste

edit, and on the trance side of course orkidea and niklas rehnquist, especially when they worked together. and peaktwins - hypnowaves , the original and the castaneda remix.

and of course bomfunk mc's - freestyler, obviously.

also bigups to grimreaper who introduced me to alot of these names and their works.
