getting into lavo nyc?

so ive never checked this place out, but i have some buddies who want to go tonight for afrojack. i'm probably not going to go but they're asking me the deal about getting in.
is this just a show up and pay the cover place? or do you need to be on a list? i read on twitter that tonight's the owner's birthday so maybe it's different?

| Im sure this place has the same rules as Provocateur has. Bottles and models type of deal. Im actually thinking about going over to Provocateur tonight with a friend of mine for AN21.. going at 11 and see if I get lucky. I really dont justify spending about $1,000 on a bottle to see a DJ. Tell them to partner up with some girls outside who are going, always easier for guys that way. |

thats right - an21 is in town! ran into him after the size beatport party on the street and he told me he would be.. guess i was too drunk to remember until now! :haha:

yeah - i saw that. i was just wondering for lavo in general. calvin harris is going to be around in a month which i'm going to want to go to so i figured i'd see what the deal is. |

lol from possibly the best club in ny to definitely the worst
on that note, anyone have any idea when sankeys is going to open? a competitor to pacha to help thin out the awful jersey trash and draw big djs will be fantastic |
