Hey hey all you funky people. After the roof literally collapsing on our last attempt at getting some Freaky Behaviour going again we are please to announce our officially unofficial re re re-launch party.
Resident DJ’s Soulstice and ?uesquecest will be throwing down the best in funky breaks, reggae, dub, disco, latin, boogie, house and pretty much anything else that will keep the dance floor moving.
PMFZ will be slinging drin...ks from behind the Detour bar and cranking up the volume on his big ass sound system.
Only this time we are not alone, all the way from Vancouver we have the homie DJ EVO. This is very exciting for me as the first time I ever spun out to a crowd that wasn't at a friends house party was with EVO back in the day, back on da rock!!! Sweet!!!!

Straight from the mouth of EVO: "I've been DJing for almost ten years in clubs and I've been a music fanatic since I was 8 years old. My love of funk, jazz & old school hip-hop laid the foundation for my lengthy love affair with music & Djing. The more exposed and immersed I became within the DJ culture, it led me to fall in love with breaks, boogie, house, broken-beat, reggae, dub & afro-beat. Some of my biggest inspirations on the decks have been Cut-Chemist, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Yoda, Afrika Bambaata, Kenny Dope, J-Rocc, Nu-Mark & DJ Shadow.
I've been very lucky and thankful since my move to Vancouver from the east coast. I've held down numerous residencies around Vancouver as well as a resident for "Dirty Beats" at The Maxx Fish in Whistler. I've played tons of shows and festivals. If I'm not playing anywhere else, you can catch me at Bayside Lounge every Thursday & every Saturday for "The Come Up" w/Three Piece Suit. I've had the opportunity to play with artists such as Afrika Bambaataa, The Nextmen, DJ Vadim, J-Boogie, Ohmega Watts, Danny Massure, Ali B., Fort Knox 5, All Good Funk Alliance, Deekline, K-os, Skratch Bastid, DJ Craze, DJ Vajra, Mat The Alien, VInyl Ritchie, Hubbz, Slynk, Audit, Dabbler, Spiltmilk, Wood N Soo, Czech, Neighbour, U-Tern(All I can remember for now).
With future dates and gigs around Canada as well as completing a tour of South Korea in winter of 2009 and an upcoming tour to California, I'm very thankful for what my DJing has allowed me to do. A big appreciation goes out to all the peeps, promotors and fellow DJ's that have supported me over the last few years! Ez
