Just want to give everyone at Embassy a huge thank you for such a great night, first time there and really enjoyed my time partying in a smaller place like this. I also really want to thank the staff there as they were extremely helpful with guest list throughout the day, and was in close contact always, really helpful when planning an outing with lots of friends.
I showed up at around 11:20pm and caught the last part of Tim’s set, which was really great. Crowd wasn’t that hyped then but the place was still filling up past 12, after which the crowd started to dance. Jelo came on around 12:15 I believe, but im not really sure, wasn’t paying attention to the time. He played an electric set that had me and the crowd really moving. I really enjoyed how amped the crowd with brief interruptions for us to kick it up a notch, yelling with enthusiasm that got me into it at least. Only thing I didn’t like about his set was that after each song he seemed to bring the volume down to build up the next track, which I felt broke the flow a little in the beginning. Overall though I had fun dancing to his set and would give it thumbs up.
I really enjoyed the mini red and green lasers that this place has, really makes an interesting setting when there are hundreds of little lasers flying around. This also made for some cool photos on their site through fb. Also had a good time getting drinks all night, bar tenders and waitresses were really helpful, and the bottle service we ordered come out in a nice display that added to the night.
Overall this is a great venue and look forward to shows in the future. I really enjoy the lounge type setting and look forward to maybe some tribal nights there. Tim Green I feel would play a wicked set there do to the environment, but I’m sure you guys have shows in the work. Thanks for throwing such a great event, and I hope the rest of your nights will be as successful. |
