Fanyo - White to fusion
Fanyo is not concerned with blowing your mind. He's more concerned with doing what he does best, doing what he only knows how, DJ and producer that has had his head professionally buried in house music for the best part of a decade.
One of the standout mellow tunes is the opening "White to fusion" whose bouncing, is a strong mood-setter. The neat segue
into "Trouble in my head" underscores the album's strong sense of cohesiveness�it's less about the personalities of single tracks than the feeling of a eight-track sculpted whole.
Sometimes the grooves endlessly re-start and churn up and down, sometimes they sulk in a more emotionally vulnerable corner and sometimes they roll out, edgelessly, into the deep recesses of space, but they always hit the mark and avoid loopy ennui.
