Lira, I recognize that the beverages you posted were frappucinos, but I'll say this anyway:

You strike me as the type of guy that brews his own coffee, maybe even grows the beans...

Racist :haha:

hahaha no! Not because he's Brazilian- because he strikes me as the 'quirky intellectual' type who probably does some totally unnecessary things (like growing his own coffee beans) because they make him happy. (

Starbucks has coffee, and they don't even provide free WiFi access anymore.

There is no vibe either.

I don't get my coffee at SB because I don't like it but their site says free wi-fi.

I only get frapps, only reason I go there is for meeting point purposes and the free WiFi when on the road. So yea Free WiFi is real, as far as I know.

LDNN: I'm more of a social nerd. Though I'd definitely be happy to learn more about coffee grains, and I appreciate randomness more than anything in this life, I'm not sure I'd ever get a hobby that doesn't require the presence of other people (or of other people's ideas). That's why I used to go to the gym every single day as a hobby and, before that, I joined a breakdancing group :p

I meant the coffees grown in Brazil. I've tried three of the four varieties you guys grow; Burbon Santos, typica, and Caturra. None of them are very good for anyone that likes flavour. I mean, if you want a really smooth and weak coffee then the Burbon Santos is alright but I like more complex and flavourful coffee. I'd say the burbons are good if you don't actually like coffee but want to start drinking it. The typica and Caturra are just unadultarated crap IMO. I'm sure it's mostly due to the low altitude you folks grow at... the beans just don't get hard enough to withstand proper roasting without giving up all their flavour.

Hmm... I'm 3 280 feet above the sea level, so maybe the local stuff is a tad bit different. I'm not a connoisseur or anything... all I know is that I never make my own coffee (I drink it socially) and add milk because I like it cold (not common around here). So I really don't know what coffee I'm drinking :p
