deepish thing by Khaio

will finish this up tomorrow after work, what do you guys think?
Richard Butler
sounding real cool so far but I really don't like that staggered kick as it drags the track. Maybe only do that stagger once in a while?
sako487
gotta disagree with you on that one mate, I love the staggered kick lol
Evolve140
I like it too but are you gonna use it for the whole song? Maybe EQ it or something so it doesn't sound like 2 kicks hehe
G. Cazali
the kick its not the problem :) it sounds good for me

now, how about a nice melo? ;)

nice work

I like the sound a lot, I think its a cool track. I do like the kick on the 8th notes, but I do agree its a bit much. It still sounds cool for the whole track, but I think it should be turned down a bit on the 8th note instead of the way it is. I think it should sound like "BOOM bom BOOM" instead of "BOOM BOOM BOOM"(lol) know what I mean?

IMO, it's on the way to being your best yet, though not exactly my cup of tea in general. It's really good for what it is, and I'd easily bet an abundance of people will like what you've made here.

By now Sako you know what I'm thinking about lol (SC)

Cheers my friend,

Your kick is already taking up a lot of mixing space so when you add the bassline you run into trouble. I normally don't recommend sidechaining but I think it might actually work in this case. Then turn everything but the kick and bass up and TURN THE MASTER VOLUME DOWN!
