Miami Club Scene - Dress Codes?

Hey guys/gals. I am new to Miami as of August and am just recently about to start hitting some of the clubs around here. I am having a hard time understanding dress codes here. From what I have seen/heard you are supposed to dress up. My question is what is acceptable here in Miami? Not really looking to go to LIV, SET, or Mansion since I have heard quite a bit of horror stories about getting in and let's face it I just want to have fun, not stand in line and not get in for hours.
Any help would be great thanks a lot! |

| jeans, clean sneakers and a t shirt suffice for space and pretty sure cameo also. no shorts. just look clean and presentable for the most part and there wont be an issue. |

| What about the Florida Room? I have a buddy who is going to be doing a gig there next thursday and I wanted to go ahead and grab some clothes. |

space - jeans, nice tshirt, nice sneakers
mansion - jeans, button down, nice sneakers
liv + set + arkadia - slacks, button down, dress shoes, if not more.. oh and dont forget the fat wallet
cameo - jeans, nice tshirt, nice sneakers (although you'll find mostly out of towners there and they tend to dress up so wear a button down if you dont want to feel under dressed)
vagabond - jeans, any tshirt, sneakers
gryphon - jeans, nice tshirt, nice sneakers (but i recommend a button down)
anywhere else? |

Very interresting, We'll be soon in Miami and wanted to go to Nikki beach, how should we dress there ?
Do we have to be in mixed group to get in clubs or 2 guys are OK ? |

Can a nice tshirt be substituted with a solid colored short sleeve polo? |

polos are nicer than tshirts so yea i would say so. |

true. but i bet you those nice tshirts that a lot of guys are wearing in all the club pictures of miami that i see that have cool designs on them cost more than my nice polo..haha. |
