Can't find details anywhere. When & who's playing? I'm all for it, though I'd prefer it's not the aggressive, mid-range, chainsaw stuff. There's plenty of dubstep and bass music that would fit just fine at Stereo.
Berghain has a monthly dubstep night, so why not?

yes and the substance night is pretty good in Berghain! its like once every three months if I remember, both floor were open on friday specially for it. Also the Berghain residents play some dubstep tracks in their sets on a normal night...
Really nice from Stereo to do a dubstep night... why not?? :)

People keep telling me that there's decent dubstep out there. I just have yet to hear it myself.

there is some good dubstep.
The Hessel Audio stuff seems to be one of the more consistent in terms of labels. Kyle Hall also makes decent tracks that could pass for dubstep...but i find it leans more towards grime. Shed, Martyn, Scuba, Shackleton and so on also have a few decent tracks that don't sound like cheesy garbage.
the general problem with the genre is that for every 1 good release that comes out, 99 others with big wonky baselines and more cheese than happy hardcore follow.
they should advertise it as a dubstep night then play nothing but grime and 2 step garage...the kids that listen to the majority of the dubstep won't be able to tell the difference and at the very least the djs could have a bit more good music at their disposal.
a dubstep track well placed in a house or tech set can be so win to change up the monotonous 4/4...that being said 5 or 6 hours of nothing but this would probably make any sober person turn to drugs that block out hearing.:p

yeah im not so much into dubstep but I love stuff from labels like hyperdub.
another problem with dubstep is that the djs all play the same tracks like it was trance or something.
wonkstep is cheesier than trance by a country mile.

I enjoy Dubstep and Bass music, i just like making fun of the young kids who if you played them a Pangaea track wouldn't even know it would be considered dubstep.
