Mate if he plays anything like he did on Saturday night it will be INSANE. It was maybe the best I have ever seen live from Markus. Listening back to the set now its actually even better. He is right at the top of the tree at the moment.
Dont think ive ever seen him play relentless at 135-136bpm before either. Was similar in Glasgow last November but ASOT 500 was on another level. Some of the basslines were borderline full on techno. He truely is ANGRY at trance! |

ha I was in the toilet when it got played lol. It was alright I had heard him play it in the Arches in November so it wasnt all a total feeling I had missed out. Such a let down when A&B came on though. Markus truely showed them up something awful. |

I said in the 500 thread on Saturday night, the energy levels in the room went from 500 to zero in the space of three mimutes. Too slow, too flat, too floaty.
Hoping Armin pulls something out of the hat in Sydney on Saturday, because he still hasn't hit the heights of Johannesburg yet.
The ending was a bit wacky to say the least. Wouldn't have been amused if I was Emery starting after Armin beefed up The Orange Theme to 150bpm! :p And even he started flat as hell. |

aye it was a funny armin set first 70mins or so was great even if he did start quite slow it suited after above and beyond. But the classics were a bit random and playing them so slow till he sped the orange theme up was a bit weird. He was still good but not no south Africa and Miami quality. |
