Tiesto in Feb. was an exquisite show, hopfeully Oakie will rock house the same.
I hope everyone in Toronto enjoys him today, cause I'll be enjoying his set tomorrow!!!

| bwahahahaha...I was actually there that night for Oakie...he sucked though:o We left early and I never went to Sona after that :( But seriously man, to whoever braught up this thread to make a point: it's becoming tiresome very quickly...Stop bitching about Aria. People go there because the best DJs go there...it's not like Aria is some independent embodiement over and above what it's purpose is: It's an after-hours where DJs spin. You want good Djs, you go to Aria and the massives. Period. I'm all for supporting local talent and the smaller peeps, so your point is taken, but stop beating a dead horse. C'est tanant a la fin. Et oui, je sais que sais ton opinion, et puis ca c'est mon opinin de ton opinion. En tout cas, PLUR :rolleyes: |

I remember I had seen Oakey a few times already at that point, from the Oasis parties, and my boyfriend at the time MADE me bus it down with him on that Thursday to go.. hehe.. one thing I can remember very clearly as though it was yesterday, is when he started to drop the track 'Someone Like You' - Ascension.. the whole damn place went NUTS!! (both floors, since the music was pumped into the hip hop room also). :eyespop:
it was awesome.. obviously everyone in the room had listened to Tranceport at some point.. I think he probably played Gamemaster and stuff too.. but the Ascension track stands out for me, sooo many people in unison, beautiful. :) |
