GREAT album...I think the man is a genius...perfect album title too. I thought his remix of Lucy was sublime! So subtle. :eyespop:

I listen to quite a lot of dark Techno, checked this out a few days ago but I found it somewhat boring based on the samples. Might have to give it a proper listen tho. (But I don't like the Lucy album too much either personally)
Domesticated
Though it's very popular at the moment, I ing hate this huge space between the beats, percussion-less, no bassline brand of techno. Especially when it's passed off as banging. Like hardstyle, with all the emphasis on the kicks, there's absolutely no movement, rhythm or groove in any of the tracks. It's boring as to dance to and I don't find it energetic in the least.
Secondly, considering how much effort he puts into trying to differentiate his music, Tommy Four Seven's work sounds pretty much the same as that of Dettman, Klock et cetera, too.

Eh, one or two of those tracks would be alright if well-placed in a set. An entire album of that feels like punishment. The basslines are almost non-existent. This is mechanical rave that would be blasted at a Concentration Camp.

I lol'd.
I like the concept of the album, sampling from real life and all that.. but agree with you guys. I need some groove.. this album, while extremely well produced, has no soul. The techno purists are eating it up though, to each his own.
PivotTechno
Boring, all sound same. Check out Heiko Laux's work as Apathism if you want to hear this kind of stuff done proper.
