To be fair the knicks were very very short handed. Melo was double teamed all game, Stoudemire was very limited due to his back. So thats basically our back ups against the celtics big 4. I actually regret saying we should can the coach. That wasnt a fair statement. Look at Games 1 and 2, there defense was superb. |

knicks have played incredible defense all series considering they have possibly the 2 biggest defensive liabilities in the nba as the their best players. that is a testament to coaching |

they gave up 87 and 96 in the first 2 games. you need to realize the starting 5 for the knicks is collectively one of the worst defensive units the nba, easily bottom 5. They are EXPECTED to give up 100-105 a night. If D'Antoni can get them to play average or above average defense he is making a huge difference |

You know what, at least we cut the game to 4, I give the team alot of respect for that. Congrats to the celtics.

They better resign Walsh and D'antoni. Hire a defensive assistant coach and get some height hopefully through the draft. |

My reasoning
- Knicks proved tonight that they can play great defense
- Chauncey will be back
- Knicks got a huge chip on their shoulder, did you watch TBS? everyone on there besides Marv Alberts hates the knicks, all they did was talk about them during the half time when up by 12
- Knicks are much more confident today then they were yesterday, they walked into TD Garden and played neck n' neck with Boston
- Even with Melo and Chauncy being basically shut out, Celtics needed last second heroics to win the game, Melo is a sleeping giant, he will wake up |
