I don't understand... (pg. 5)

While we are on the subject, i think there is some unfairness here.
the other day, i went to the bar with this chick, and my girlfriend, and some other people. we were all getting quite drunk. me and this chick go up to the bar, i tell her i will buy her a drink for her birthday, she is like, thanks!
so, in the line up, some guy comes up to her, and is like "hey can i buy you a drink?" she says sure. he didn't even know it was her birthday!
then we get to the bar, i buy me a drink, and her one too. then she says to the bartender, it's my birthday! he says "hey, here's another one on the house!"
so, i say "hey it's my birthday too!" he says, "sorry buddy, buzz off"
so, final score, 3 free drinks for her, and i got to pay for two myself.
WTF! i hate when women complain about inequality while still reaping the benefits of it everyday.
although, i realize that free drinks does not make up for years of oppression, there is a time to cut of the retibution and just make it an even playing field.
unfortunately, i don't that will ever happen. |

It depends on the situation, sometimes the opposite can be annoying too. At the big clubs in the UK (Godskitchen, Gatecrasher etc...) you get a very friendly atmosphere, where people mingle & talk without the annoyance of "oi, that's my my girlfriend you're talking too".
At the end of a day you can't blame somebody for talking to a girl. It's up to her to say she's not interested. If she doesn't like being spoken to she shouldn't go out in the first place :)
Fair enough if she's made it clear she's not interested though, then it's time for them to off :p |

You need to start going to different clubs mate :) The places I go, people go for the music and the friendly atmosphere.
And those who don't like every guy in the world fancying their bird, instead of getting depressed why not enjoy the fact that the entire room wants her, but there's only one person going home with her that night :p I know I would. |

yep. that's what i do. i'm proud when i see a guy checking out my girl. now, when he tries to put his hands on her, that's what pisses me off. especially when i will have a hard time kicking his ass. i'm not very big, 5'7" 135lbs, but i am faster than your average drunk gino. still, if hey were to hit me once, i'd be out. |

lol.. ah, it's a little long to say.. but there was a bench in the bathroom, and he was lying on it, i came and sat behind him, legs on either side of his head, crotch about 1 foot from his head.
then i start asking him questions about being gay and stuff. he kept on trying to inch closer to me, but i just moved back farther. i'm such a friggin tease. oh well, girls do the same thing, i'm entitled to a little ego stroking. |

JohnSmith, but what happens if the guy who's admiring your girl actually starts putting his hands over her, and what if he's a big 6'4" guy and you can't do about it? johnsmith: yea, tho i hardly ever get free drinks :p most guys dont like girls covered in cyborg tats, with lots of piercings, wearing comfortable non-sluttish clothes :/
in fact i think ive only gotten free drinks maybe 4 times in my life (not counting my 21st bday)... so.. heh. oh well.
on the flip side, i have bought drinks on several occasion for this boy ive liked for 3 years that still doesnt give me the time of day :/ |

this is how the deal is with me when I go to clubs or bars to meet girls.
I am your typical nice guy. Not the hottest d00d in the club and not the ugliest. I use my knowledge of being in clubs to I guess get chicks. I used to just dance with them and that was it. That was last summer. This summer I actually have the balls to start convo's with them like ..whats your name..town you from..school you go to ..I am not a faker like ..yo I I know this kid from such and such or please give me your # or I will die...I hate kids like that, that won't give up when the girl is not interested. I make it simple and I don't lie. when you do that you will mostly end of with the girls # because she actually knows your a nice guy from when sqaure one to when you leave her or the next morning in the same bed :)...but just don't stand around and cry about what other people do in clubs...Have fun and don't expect to meet girls ..because if thats your only intention and you don't meet one then you will obvioulsy be jealous of the pretty frat/spikey hair model back st boy look alike guy that did. :disbelief |
