Just out of curiosity. I've loved this synth forever now. I've played around with some regular sine waves, and then coupled it w/ some organs and got moderatley close. But not this exact sound. Its ultra prevelant in a lot of the tracks I love and the sound I want to emulate in my own productions. Any help would be appreciated.

The Electric Dream is so gooooooood. Mord Fustang is sick.
You have to remember that almost all of these melodies are chorded and that can seriously change how a synth sounds.
The lead in Electric Dream has a phaser on one of the oscillators btw.

I couldn't agree w/ you more... And this is exactly the sound that I crave. If I could find a million and one records just like this my entire crate would be filled w/ em.That's why I want to make my own. And I for real thought they were sine waves. I've created 3 nn-19's playing the same chord progression, then added a couple of nn-19's w/ a couple of organs. Came close, but I couldn't get it exact. Since the sound is so prevelant I just thought someone might know the formula.
edit:
my entire April 2011 Promo has nothing but tracks like this for those that want to listen -)
