In my constant quest to do new things I picked up teh mic the other day.

Now i'll admit the vocals are smothered in FX and autotune but hey, my voice is awful!!!

Behold :p

It's only a short little WIP as usual!

Ah Yeah - Vocal WIP - And when I say vocal I mean MY vocal..... by BluffMunkey

Water helps clear up the mouth noises, but apart from hearing your viscous spittle amplified with a jarring visceral clarity, I have to admit - it's damn good. :D

Love the tune and the mix is solid, as well. Keep at it.

I think this very cool and an enjoyable listen. Wondered how long it would be before you got your voice laid down. The old cliche that bloke vox don't work in dance is utter bilge, nice work mate.

Ooh - I like it! Musically, you've got a great vibe going and the FX-laden vocals work nicely as an intro. Maybe it's just me, but that clip left me expecting and wanting the song to kick in full-tilt with the vocals front and center. Your voice sounds great, so don't be shy, dude - let it all hang out!!! (figuratively speaking, of course).

This is true - yours and Richard's. I'd love to hear more vocal work from you guys.

Thanks my TA chums

I'll get back to this track soonish I think. Lot's of other stuff going on at the moment!

The autotune was just set to 'fast' with the correct key for the track. I didn't do any stupid or extreme editing in graph mode or anything. Even at it's most extreme automatic setting it should remain relatively natural apart from the odd jump here or there.

I think I need to lose a bit of the reverb from the vocal though, and i'll proabably do another take or two as well as this was just done sitting down with an SM57.

Sometimes things just come together real fast ;)
