Ah, I was very ill-informed. I'm not sure I'm interested in paying $50 to see a DJ I only moderately like, and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to find anyone to go with even if I wanted to. At least the good news is that the regular Clutch goers won't be around., I'm pretty sure they'll hit another club that night. 89 X usually broadcasts from Clutch on Saturday nights, don't suppose there's any chance of them broadcasting this.
You know, it's pretty crappy being misinformed about the show. Seeing as how I was just there a few days ago and no one could tell me anything about the upcoming show. Weak. |

| I have to apologize to xXxAzNrAvErxXx and especially Aviston. With all the anti Oakey propaganda and relatively few Michiganders here, I chose not to make a thread about Clutchs. Next time something cool happens and I hear about it Ill get it up here, like I said, trance is relatvely scarce in MI. peace out. |

Well i came back from oakey.. it was an amazing night.. he played alot of new songs that nobody knew and it was amazing. the key songs of the night was
Schiller(?) Das Glockenspiel
Push Strange World
Madonna i forgot the title.. u kno the new mix
PvD(oakey playes pvd haha) Rendevou
Ascension i dunno the title
he ended the night with a breakbeat tune, it was really phat, crowd was really into it and everyone was chanting "ONE MORE SONG" while he was packing up and nobody left the club till 30 minutes after when they turned all the lights on and literally kicked us out.
It was probobly the most fun i ever had since we dont really get much pure "TRANCE" dj's in DC.
It was kinda dissapointing tho since he was scheduled to play at 12:00am but he came like 30 minutes late.. D:Fuse was aiite , he ended up spinning a very long time. then oakey came on and the crowd went nutz and the he was supposed to spin until 3:00am but he ended at 2:45.. i mean he coulda popped in 2 more tunes u know?? last time PVD Came here, he worked the crowd and spun an hour longer then he had to...
I dunno, he's a good DJ but i guess he doesnt really care about the crowd.. |
