Crash is a bit loud in the mix, imo. Nice little melody and chords tho. Has a cool resolution that I like. After 2:16 I wouldn't necessarily have the 2nd layer playing the same composition on top of the other.

This is where you can fatten up the harmonics by having the other instrument playing some counter melodies. If you were going for another layer, I think that additional synth is a little cheesy (the string bright one). The melody is right on track though.

Some variation in the hats/drums would help, maybe try some swing. The main issue is that those 2 synths are occupying much of the same frequency range. However this track is pretty much on target except for it's more progressive house, and the beat is a little generic. The bassline could possibly benefit from a little ducking, and indeed the bassline does not carry the track as much as it could.

Your notes on the lead are all on the down beat and quantized (not a bad thing), so you have a lot of room with swung notes, off beats, grooves and triplets in the rest of the track and in that other synth you have. You could try a counter point lead either on the same rhythm as the main lead or with variations as mentioned. Finally, and perhaps redundant of me to say, the bass between 100-300 Hz could be filled out a little better.

Good work, get some more feedback, A&B it with some other tracks, and you're on your way.

no problem, make sure to post the update. Except, you stole that composition from Deadmau5 & Kaskade - Move for me. Tisk tisk mate. I mean, if you didn't purposely do that it would be very interesting but the similarities are very uncanny.

edit: after another listen, this is pretty much the exact composition in that song. you will make more friends if you would have been honest and said, "I took the melody from one of the biggest dance tracks in the past 2 years". it was only a matter of time before someone noticed though.
