any store in toronto that carries Technics RPDJ-1200A or Stanton Magnetics DJ Pro 2000 headphones? i checked Metro Sound & Music's site and guess what, they don't even have a section for headphones. bloody hell.

any help would be appreciated!!

Your best bet will prolly be Dj Depot in Brampton. They have a whole slew of top quality headphones.

peace out
Dave

thanks Dave. downtown would be great, but at least brampton is just next to toronto.

what's the difference between the rp dj1200's and the 1200a's?

i myself have the rp dj1210's and i absolutely love them
Kid Lax
oh and to answer your question
i personally don't specifically know of any places

but my suggestions are...
steve's music - queen st., just east of spadina on the south side...though i hear their prices aren't the best

metropolis - queen/spadina (northwest corner, upstairs)...they have a selection of dj'ing equipment, not sure about headphones though

play de record - yonge...north of dundas on the east side...behind a convienience store...not sure about other headphones, but i know they carry the sony mdr-v700s

eastern bloc - above sunrise records on yonge...west side just north of dundas (i think)...not sure about the selection but i know the store is pretty big =P

now i don't know if there is a long & mcquade downtown, but they may be worth checking out
i know there is one at markham & ellesmere (southeast plaza) in scarborough, and while you're down there you should maybe try de music library & lawrence & bellemy (northwest plaza)

i don't think ive helped at all
at least i tried ;)
Kid Lax
alright i just checked de music library's website and they have the stanton dj pro 2000 s'
fieroavian
so where did you get your RPDJ-1210 cans? de music library's site doesn't tell me how much those Stanton DJ pro 2000 are, maybe i'll call them tomorrow.
dEsidEL
try Bay Bloor Radio ..
mr. poopyhead
i found my technics rp-dj1200s in a dusty corner of the battery plus at eaton center, hahaha.. i was so suprised to see them... i got them for 120.

the 1200 and the 1200a are pretty much the same, except the 1200a looks WAY cooler and has a coiled cord. other than that, i think all the specs are the same...

so yeah, try battery plus, =P.

I have the sony mdr-v700s, and let me tell you, they are amazing. A little on the expensive side (I got mine for a little less than retail), but remember, you get what you pay for.

Kid Lax
i got my rp dj1210's from a contest i won in the uk ;)

apparently you can't buy them in canada?

so if i understand correctly, the 1200a's are the silver & black ones with the coiled cord?

then what's the difference between those and the 1210's?

oh and im sure de music library will probably match the price of another store if you find it cheaper, though i guess that defeats the purpose doesn't it :p
