I found out really late on this one, but it's rolling until April 29th. Just a heads up to anyone who might want to put something together. Fantastic original by an artist I really respect.

The stems are good, the rules are simple. Good luck!

Here's my take on it:

Nice remix man,but I'm just letting you know you've got some really tough competition.

Haha no kidding. Silinder... the list goes on. But nonetheless, I'm in it for the joy of creating music ;)

Now this is some nice music right here. Great work!

I really enjoyed that and would love to hear it on a proper system.
samhouse

Mr. mUSER you are keeping that prog sound alive! Do you also DJ or just produce as a hobby? I'd be stoked to hear a set from you if your live mixes are anything like your productions.

Either way I've heard a couple of your other remixes and they were stellar.

Keep pounding out more productions because I can't emphasize how much I miss the dark, chuggy, atmospheric sound of the past that has disappeared so quickly over the years!

5ive Stars For this remix!

Good work. I was kind of hoping to hear it take off eventually tho. But i guess it's a remix so there's not much you can do to the original track. Would be awesome if you could break it up and let it really just take off in the middle there.

I love soundcloud. Without even listening to some of these remixes on the comp, you can tell they are just rubbish and were created with little to know creativity.

Right on - thanks for the kind words! I do DJ as well, though that's usually minimal/techno/after hours house stuff.

However, production wise, I definitely have a love for the proggy sounds. Journey music, I guess.

Thanks for the feedback man. I can see where you're coming from. In the end, I tried to keep it to a similar vibe that I heard @ Cameo in Miami this year, at the Bedrock evening (which was the best of the week for me). Though I definitely had it going in a few different directions in the brainstorming period ;) Cheers!

Hah... yeah... it's a bit of a fest. So much to wade through, but some real gems in the mix!
