Jay or anyone else, I have a visa... but I entered through Beijing, make my way to Xi'an City then to Shanghai then go to Hong Kong.
I only have one entry... can i go from Hong Kong to Macau and back to Hong Kong?
I heard Macau is just like Vegas as well. but hotels were cheaper in Macau? Strange no?
And whats at Ocean Park? Tranny's, hookers? LOL |
when you go to macau i think they give you a little form to fill out on the ferry for entry, if i remember correctly. the architecture in macau is beautiful and so is the food.
ocean park is like hong kong's version of canada's wonderland. |

Macau is just like Hong Kong. It has its own customs and you can go back and forth no visa from macau to HK. Once you leave mainland china to macau or hong kong you have left china. But yes you can go back and forth between HK and macau as often as you want.
If you are in mainland i recommend guangzhou and shenzhen before you leave the mainland. Id also check flights because its usually way cheaper to fly to Guangzhou or Shenzhen from shanghai than it is to fly to hong kong. You can do some things there and then take the bullet train from guangzhou to shenzhen. From there you walk over the border and get on the hong kong subway system.
Let me know if you decide to do Guangzhou and i will steer you in the direction of a few clubs there. |

sure, it might be cheaper but id rather stay in hong kong and avoid that friggin commute.
the last time i was in hong kong i stayed in the new territories and it took forever to get to kowloon or hong kong island. shenzhen is even further. |

great idea for the night before he goes to hong kong. But a gwai lo with one entry visa to the mainland wouldnt be able to return.
The cheapest thing you can do is a hostel and even they are quite expensive. I say try to stay outside of hk whether you go to shenzhen or macau as much as possible. |
