maybe those american degenerate parents should pay more attention to their kids to make sure they dont swallow the toy instead of banning something that is an easter tradition?

Apperntly this this has been in effect since 1938, no objects embedded in chocolate or candy that is not edible, heard it on the radio, the egg has been out since 72, but still crazy, people used make cults
Out of those through collecting them, really surprised still to find this out only this year

Crossing back into the US on Sunday when Bobby and I were asked if we were bringing anything back we said Easter Candy.

The first question out of the custom guards mouth was "Any Kinder Eggs?"

Bobby hadn't even heard of a Kinder Egg so the border guard described it to him as a chocolate egg that you eat and it has a little toy inside.

When we drove off I explained to Bobby that the chocolate egg is hollow and that the toy is inside a case.

Bobby couldn't figure out why any one would want a toy covered in chocolate.

lol...oh bobby!

I used to collect them too when I was maybe 12-13? Got my Mom hooked too, we probably had 6 or 7 different complete figurine collections

these were HUGE in Ukraine! People would sell and swap these things too so you could collect them without going through tons of eggs :)
Wurm
Used to gobble them when I lived in West Germany.

Now I know what we were doing there. Preventing the godless commie hordes from taking away our right to eat chocolate eggs! Err... No! Preventing the godless commie hordes from jamming toys down our throats! That's it! Freedom isn't free, after all.

Border guard: Any Kinder Eggs?
Bobby: HAH?!

I heard about this ban a few months back. I remember it being in the news, because some Canadian woman got fined at the border for having them in her possession, and she was shocked, because she, like most of us, had no idea they weren't permitted in the States. I seriously was rolling around on the floor laughing when I heard. I couldn't believe it was for real. lol

There are tons of every day items out there that are choking hazards for children. Why take a stand on kinder eggs? lol :conf:

My family is kind of backwards. We get Kinder eggs after our Christmas dinner every year. We don't get them for Easter at all. lol
