She's still plugging away even though half of what she is doing will probably go unreleased.
Just wondered what everyone thought of her recent stuff:
Everything I Need (Sea Of Dreams)
The original starts off sounding like a completely different song, though I prefer the Radio Edit- the beat is a lot more beefed up. Never got released due to 'politics' according to Perfecto and 'red tape' according to Jan.

Halo
This was a track Jan originally recorded back in 1999 with Rob Davies (in the same session as Time/ Am I On Pause) but Perfecto never released it. It got reworked and was planned to be released by Perfecto as a double A side in 2006 with Obsession. Never happened.

Sleeping Satellite
Only took 3 and a half years to be released. I love the instrumentation on the Club mix and the beat on the Uptempo club edit (shame there isnt a longer version) but hate the vocals on the downtempo mix- they sound like they have been slowed down waaay too much.

Obsession
Another one of the Perfecto releases that took three and a half years to appear. Strangely a Robert Vadney mix later surfaced which wasn't part of the release package.

San - Perfect Dream
Not much of a vocal here from Jan to be honest- again this took a few years to surface.

There were a couple of remixes of Flesh (with re-recorded vocals) done with Tenishia and Remember with Dave D'Mello. The Tenishia release was alright, but I didn't rate the D'Mello release. Cosmic Gate re-released Raging with some new mixes this year too.
Tartarus - Something's Missing
Just released this month- quite a good track with a variety of remixes. Jan has recorded two other tracks with them, one of which "Define Love" is being released at the end of the year.

Upacci - Read My Lips
Recorded in 2006 with Australian producers (two other tracks were done I believe). The track never got released though, but randomly the radio edit can be bought from a mobile DJ online store(!). Not massiely kee on it, sounds like an attempt to sound Rogue Traders.

Speaking of old tracks, did anyone manage to get a hold of the Magik Muzik mix of Superstar or the Solar Stone Vocal Mix of Silent Words.
Or the original of Am I On Pause?

I remember someone mentioning them having a promo CD of Am I On Pause. Did that ever turn up? I'm dying to get a hold of the original and the Oliver Lieb dub that are part of the PERF037TR release (if that ever existed!!) |

I absolutely hate her voice.
Seriously worst voice in dance ever. And I'm including Princess Superstar too.
She might be good in a pantomime, but otherwise I liken her to dance what Gareth Gates was to everything else. |

I got an mp3 of it which I thought was the original version - is just shy of 5 mins. Though right at the end you can hear it mix into the Space Brothers 'I still love you' which is frustrating as the start of the track isnt mixed at all!

Unafraid - Paul Oakenfold Remix is one of my favorite tracks ever.
I enjoy the Club mix of Sleeping Satelite very much as well.
Perfect Dream was just horrible. |

It was barely a song from Jan, just a few random lines thrown here and there.

When I spoke to Jan's agent I got the impression that Everything I Need (Sea Of Dreams) is getting a release.
Gonna be great hearing Mercury & Solace, Skydive, Remeber & Flesh at the Cream Reunion. |

Is that this Sophia person? She never replies to anything I send to her.
Well Jan said to me that Everything I Need wasnt going to get released, but who knows, Perfecto seem to be undergoing a relaunch, so it may get released. |

Well hopefully Perfecto will get some of Jans backcat online. Currently the only place you can "buy" Jans original Perfecto stuff is via the dodgy Russian mp3 sites.

Emerging - Emerges in it's 12 track form
And that her other recordings for Perfecto - Out There/ Religion (Halo)/ Bittersweet and Everything I Need get released
OK got carried away there... I heard the original version of Religion/Halo the other day for the first time and fell in love! |

| It still flumoxes me why Flesh was never a bigger hit. Granted the video was cheap as, but it was a notch above most of the other trance around then, especially lyrics wise |
