For the most part, no, but I am fairly certain Taishi is from Japan. I've only seen that artist's name on two labels, both of them Japanese (Otographic Arts and Galaxy Recz).

Some songs in Japan can really pull of euphœic Trance, with the vocals of Japanese female vocals. Though my days of interest in euohoric Trance is dead.

Japan always struck me as more of a house and techno country rather than a trance one.
I remember going through a Japanese Trance phase back in the day because it had a more futuristic sound to it. I'll have to track them down and post some examples.
