World Electronic Music Festival (WEMF) - 1998 - Christian Island, Ont. 3 days, 3 stages, 30C, 5000 ravers, one ferry, amazing beach & dj's. One of the most legendary outdoor EDM events ever in Ontario. The only year it was ever held on that island.
Syrous "total recall" Nov 1994, Toronto. Airplane hangar. House room and D & B room. My first massive and was hooked. About 6000 ppl.
Danny Tenaglia - improptu set, DC 10, Ibiza, Sept 2002 (I would not call this a "rave", but an after-hours, on Monday morning...yiikes indeed).
Paul Van Dyk - Twilo NYC, July 2001. Phazon sound system - 'nuff said. Saltwalter from Chicane never sounded so good.
Ultra Music Festival, Miami WMC 2006, Danny Tenaglia & Carl Cox @ Carl Cox tent. Best stage hands-down any year you go. 50 000 people overall.
Movement / Detroit Electronic Music Festival - Plastikman LIVE at main stage. May 2010. Best 30$ spent for entry into a festival. Ever. 40 000 people overall.
Lee Burridge - Leeki Teeki Boat Party. Miami WMC 2009. 150 people. Open Bar. Sand dancefloor. Undescribable vibe & ridiculousness.
Tenaglia 17.5 hr marathon @ Stereo, Sept 2003 One week before I bought my house. Stayed 14 hrs. Saying it was a voyage would be a massive understatement.
Cream 2004 w/Deep Dish, Kleinenberg, Corsten, Digweed, Masielo.
Black & Blue 2005 at the Big O w/ Tenagalia, Chus & Ceballos. Mind-bogling production, lights, sound, dj sets, vibe. |

-massive attack @ bell centre (october 2010)...i know it's not a "rave" or club event but, , that concert was a freaking revelation.
-LCD Soundsystem @ (i forget the venue, maher would have to remind me), montreal (2007-2008-ish?) (awesome concert/party also)
outside of montreal:
-sasha & john digweed 6 hour extended set @ South West 4 Festival, London UK (august 2009)...google the lineup for SW4 2009, it was sheer debauchery. 25000 people over 5 stages, daytime event.
