Originally from San Diego, Shauk has traveled to the 4 corners of the United States, absorbing the various local influences. Today, he resides in Spokane, WA.
Completely self taught in '99, he waited to make his first public DJ'ing appearance in 2000 and has since gone on to develop his own unique discipline in choosing tracks to merge into new forms of aural artwork for his dancing canvas.

Like the Nature he's inspired by, Dawnchaser is an unpredictable force of sound. Just when you think you have him pegged into one neat little genre, he goes and undermines everything you believed. Dawnchaser's live sets can begin chilled out and mellow, and quickly evolve into a massive, blistering storm. While his sets are always melodic and epic, he's equally comfortable playing and producing breaks, house, drum n' bass, techno, psychedelic, and even hardcore. There is no telling where he'll go.
