I heard that supposedly he was dead for about a week already...they just announced it yday..either way, it may seem like a victorious day but in reality his death doesn't compensate for what occurred on that treacherous day nearly a decade ago ...
It may be the end of it all now that the head of household of al queda is down (supposedly bc idk if I really believe it) or it can be the beginning of something terrible...osama knew this day would come, eventually. You think he hasn't prepared himself for it? His goal is to bring us down; I'm afraid this isn't over...
And it def isn't something to celebrate- we've been scarred, mocked and laughed at for almost a decade...this operation is just bitter sweet for america. |

This operation isn't helping our Public Relations either.. The whole "yeahh... we dropped him at sea...." thing is making us look like a joke. Comparing this to the live telecast of our soldiers taking Saddam Hussein out of HIS compound (and the Youtube leak of his hanging), it's just a joke. You would never think we would drop the most dangerous man in the history of America's corpse "into the sea". Whether it's all true or not, our government's not doing themselves a favor with this. I was against all the conspirators and neigh-sayers, but this really doesn't help our side of the argument at all.. |

Im torn on that myself...im trying not to think about it too much to be honest- for many reasons- but mostly bc its not over. Not even close. One mans death, imo, is not victory or vengeance for thousands of innocents deaths. The death needs to stop before its a victory imo (and dont nag at me about war and necessity, im not preaching im just saying- until that happens...this isnt over. and thats not going to happen for a very very long time.)
And re: the body ect...im only getting bits and pieces of the mocking and laughter as i am at work and should be working HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA TA....but im interested to read up on it later. The minute i heard they did that my mind raced in a thousand different directions |

huh? What are you talking about. We took the high road and buried him at sea within 24 hours in accordance to Islamic law. What's the problem? |

its their religion to be buried within' 24 hours, im pretty sure there would be some pissed people if our government went against their religious beliefs and do as we wish with his body instead of following their traditional practices. |

hmmmm but isnt it pretty explicit on how to BURRY the dead as well?
I cant find anything noting it any other way. And that they should be placed on their right side.
The "burrial at sea" doesnt really follow that either?

i have two friends that i email and chat with regularly. this am they were advised to let friends and family know that email and "communication" is cut off for the time being....
not sure what the real verbiage was of course...but that kinda pissed me off :( |
