Do I sense some chunky beats here? The chord progression, I can tell you are going for dark, but that opened filter has some pretty harsh frequencies searing through. When it gets going, it starts to bounce pretty nice. I feel like the snare/clap could be mixed down a little better, to give it more of a connect with the downbeat of the kick. I love the beats, but I dislike the chord progression mate. That synth does have some uncomfortable harshness to me though. It's just very loud. Maybe it's the mixdown, but it could be an EQ or compression issue. Either way it's not settling with me.
